Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s marketing strategies and driving the growth of our therapeutic device portfolio.

Position Description

The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading our US marketing team to achieve exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical device marketing to targeted healthcare provider channels, with expertise in launching and promoting medical devices within an FDA regulated environment requiring third party payer pull through.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create product awareness and adoption, drive market penetration, and revenue growth.
  • Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and future products.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective marketing strategies.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitors’ movements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience as a Marketing Manager or Marketing Director within a US medical device company.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and strategies in the prescribed therapeutic medical device sector. (Experience in pharma companies or in Over-the-Counter device companies or in diagnostic devices does not qualify).
  • Very strong preference for experience with therapeutic devices in the neurology and/or pediatric domains.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Strong team player, transparent, collaborative and results oriented.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation abilities.
  • Creative thinker with data-driven analytical aptitude.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
