Account Manager

A successful Account Manager will be highly motivated, active in the field with customers on a daily basis, possess the aptitude and experience to learn new clinical, selling, and customer information, and be adaptable to sell to all of Theranica’s call points.

  • Midsouth (North Carolina or Tennessee preferred)

We are looking for candidates with either or both of the below channel experience:

    Veteran’s Administration
  • Experience selling to the Veterans Administration Hospitals & CBOCs
  • Experience selling to VA physicians, ancillary medical staff, purchasing staff through prosthetics, and key stakeholders
  • Highly adaptable to sell in the VA and to other strategic all points outside of the VA

  • Experience selling to pediatric neurology offices, hospitals, and other key locations
  • Experience selling to pediatric specialty physicians, ancillary medical staff, and key stakeholders
  • Familiar with pediatric neurological disorders such as Migraine/headache, epilepsy and seizures, developmental disorders, neuromuscular disorders, sleep disorders, and other
  • Highly adaptable to sell to Pediatric-adolescent neurologists and to other strategic call points outside of pediatric neurology

Call Points, Products & Specialties, General Experience:

    Call Points:
  • Neurology offices, Headache Specialty Centers, Veterans Administration, pediatric neurology offices and hospitals, other HCP office targets
  • Ability to adapt selling approach and succeed at all mentioned and new call points (required)
    Specialties & Products:
  • Neurology, Migraine/headache, pain, neuromodulation, other neurological medical treatments both device and pharma
    General Experience:
  • 5-10 Years of demonstrated medical sales success
  • Large territory management
  • High Business Acumen, forecasting, territory planning
  • First-in-Category medical sales experience
  • Early-stage-company experience
  • Payor, insurance, reimbursement knowledge

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate to Healthcare Providers and their staff the value proposition of Nerivio and contrast, compare, and position our product versus competition through informed discussions using all promotional resources including HCP marketing materials, patient education materials, patient advocacy, and conference opportunities
  • Ethically and compliantly execute sales and marketing initiatives to drive new business and maximize refill rates of Nerivio within assigned region
  • Compliantly partner with Theranica’s medical affairs, market access team, distributors, and healthcare providers to pull through reimbursement opportunities
  • Identify, develop, and manage authentic business relationships with relevant key medical and academic headache KOL’s, clinics and organizations
  • Develop both short- and long-term account management plans, collaborating with all account stakeholders
  • Optimize patient experience by fully deploying appropriate patient education resources
  • Always abide by Theranica’s Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and execute all responsibilities ethically and compliantly, putting the patient’s interests first

  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual who thrives in an environment which is entrepreneurial and fast paced
  • Eager to roll sleeves up to ensure execution of commercial tactics with an inherent drive to help patients and the medical community address unmet needs
  • Keen business approach to problem solving and decision making while effectively managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proven sales success promoting prescribed, FDA-authorized medical devices
  • Experience promoting and pulling through reimbursement activities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate clearly and concisely with fellow stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of and commitment to complying with all applicable laws regulations and industry standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate content at multiple levels inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to travel domestically as required to maintain required frequency in identified accounts
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Microsoft Office basic competence (PowerPoint/Excel/Word)
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Proof of Covid Vaccine preferred
