Yaffa Krindel is a professional director focusing on healthcare companies. She serves as a director in Syneron Medical, trading in Nasdaq (ELOS) since November 2005 and Itamar Medical, trading in TAX (ITMR) since 2016. She is also the chairperson of EZbra Advanced Wound Care, a private hi-tech company and a director in BGN Technologies, the technology transfer company of Ben Gurion University.
Prior public board positions include: Fundteh, traded on Nasdaq, until its acquisition by private equity fund GTCR, Voltaire, until its acquisition by Mellanox and BreezeCOM Ltd., then traded on Nasdaq and TAX.
Throughout her career, Ms. Krindel served on the boards of close to 30 private hi-tech companies.
From 1997 until 2007, Ms. Krindel served as Managing Partner of Star Ventures, a private venture capital fund headquartered in Munich, Germany with $1 billion under management. Before joining Star Ventures, Ms. Krindel served from 1992 and 1996 as CFO and VP Finance of Lannet Data Communications Ltd., then a publicly-traded company on Nasdaq (now part of Avaya Inc.). From 1993 to 1997, she served as CFO and later as director of Breezecom.
Ms. Krindel has earned an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Economics and Japanese Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, both with distinction.
