Account Manager (AM)

A successful AM will be highly motivated and have a customer first mentality; you must be extremely active in the field with targeted customers on a daily basis; you must possess the aptitude and experience to position our best in category clinical data to the treatment alternatives and move prescribers through the sales process to close.

Position Description

We are looking to hire Account Managers (AMs) to support the commercial expansion of Nerivio® in the US (multiple locations). Nerivio is a first-in-category, FDA listed medical device indicated for the acute and preventive treatment of migraine for 8 yrs old and older. We will continue to use our proprietary technology to develop additional solutions to address unmet needs of patients suffering from idiopathic pain disorders.

Customer Call and General Experience:

Customer Call Experience:

  • Headache specialists, general and pediatric neurology, and other HCP channels that treat migraine. Experience selling neuromodulation devices and/or other digital therapeutics preferred.

General Experience:

  • 5-10 Years of demonstrated medical sales success.
  • Large territory management
  • High Business Acumen, forecasting, territory planning
  • First-in-Category medical sales experience with heavy emphasis on clinical selling
  • Early-stage-company experience
  • Payor, insurance, reimbursement knowledge

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate to Healthcare Providers and their staff the value proposition of Nerivio and contrast, compare, and position our product versus competition through informed discussions using all promotional resources including HCP marketing materials, patient education materials, patient advocacy, and conference opportunities.
  • Ethically and compliantly execute sales and marketing initiatives to drive new business and maximize refill rates of Nerivio within assigned region.
  • Compliantly partner with Theranica’s medical affairs, market access team, distributors, and healthcare providers to pull through reimbursement opportunities.
  • Identify, develop, and manage authentic business relationships with relevant key medical and academic headache KOL’s, clinics and organizations.
  • Develop both short- and long-term account management plans, collaborating with all account stakeholders.
  • Optimize patient experience by fully deploying appropriate patient education resources.
  • Always abide by Theranica’s Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and execute all responsibilities ethically and compliantly, putting the patient’s interests first.

  • Eager to roll sleeves up to ensure execution of commercial tactics with an inherent drive to help patients and the medical community address unmet needs.
  • Keen business approach to problem solving and decision making while effectively managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven sales success promoting prescribed, FDA-authorized therapies.
  • Experience promoting and pulling through reimbursement activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate clearly and concisely with fellow stakeholders.
  • Thorough understanding of and commitment to complying with all applicable laws regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate content at multiple levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically as required to maintain required frequency in identified accounts.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Microsoft Office basic competence (PowerPoint/Excel/Word).
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
  • Around 50%+ travel required, with some overnight.
