Retention Marketing Lead

The retention marketing manager will lead projects from conception to implementation, while collaborating and managing people from a variety of departments throughout the entire process. The person in this position must be able to activate people in a variety of positions and with varying degrees of seniority, ensuring that everyone aligns with the plan and fulfills each task.

  • Have hands-on experience managing users’ lifecycles and retention in B2C categories or consumer brands.
  • Excited about digital product funnels, as you are passionate about CPG marketing.
  • An expert at crafting focused marketing messages and guiding users through the funnel.
  • Capable of combining data-driven strategy with conceptual thinking and creative execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop one-to-one retention and conversion strategies.
  • Be responsible for emails, push notifications and in-app communications with users – multi-tier automations based on usage.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize user journeys, on app and physical experiences, from ideation to execution.
  • Create engaging content for the conversion funnels, including product.
    education, guides, video scripts, concierge tools, and best practice articles.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and programs to drive new users’ stickiness and help existing users get more value out of Nerivio.
  • Conduct user interviews and run surveys. Translate user feedback into product and marketing improvements and shape the Nerivio app flows and messages.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments and focal points, such as BI, R&D, medical affairs, designers, writers, etc.

Qualifications & Requirements

The person in this position must be capable to keep steering ahead even without clear directions, and move forward based on their best knowledge and instinct in a dynamic environment.

  • US English native or native-level – speaker/writer – mandatory.
  • Ability to think outside the box, come up with new ideas, and solve problems creatively.
  • Experience in retention and email marketing, preferably from a consumer brand or B2C company.
  • Experience monitoring full-funnel performance, taking data and creating meaningful insights
  • Ability to run a marketing campaign/automation from ideation to execution including writing the content when necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and excel in execution, from ideation through implementation and scale.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work well independently and within a team – a “roll up my sleeves” attitude and a self-learner.
  • A highly effective communicator and team player with a contagious “can-do” attitude.
  • Bachelor’s in marketing or a relevant major.

Big plus if you:

  • Have experience with migraine.
  • HTML, CSS and SQL knowledge (e.g. Tableau).
  • Experience with Intercom.
